Creating bracelets using techniques popularised by tribal communities, participants created ornaments using brass beads, wires and colourful threads.

Participants of the workshop used rhetted coconut fibres to create coir toys such as horses and elephants.

Using differently aged straw, participants, traced designs and used straw to create decorative items on black velvet.

To celebrate the sibling relationship, a workshop combining four crafts- Applique, Palm Leaf Etching, Pattachitra and Terracotta, participants customised their Rakhis.

An age old tradition, storytelling sessions are conducted using the artefacts in the museum by connecting them to mythology and folk lore.
 

Participants used two techniques of working with clay, the potter’s wheel and hand modelling to create terracotta lamps to take home with them

Participants used Kaincha or Sikki grass, often referred to as golden grass because of its colour, to create decorative showpieces.

Animation with Clay- Participants of the workshop used coloured clay to create figures and sceneries that were then animated to create a short film.

Combining the two crafts of wood carving and pattachitra, the event consisted of the painting of wooden toys in the pattachitra style.

Participants are provided with the opportunity to create items using the potter’s wheel and hand modelling techniques of clay.

This event was conducted to include a Lecture by Mr. William N. Bissell, Vice Chairman & Director,
Fabindia, a curated crafts bazaar, specialised tours and trails.

Creating etched book marks using palm leaf fronds, a metal stylus and ink, participants customised their book marks to suit their interests.

A specially curated workshop for students of Sri Sri University, the participants created their very own terracotta roof tiles.

Making the craft of Bellaguntha come alive participants were encouraged to create their very own brass flexible fish.

Using grains of paddy held together with thin bamboo strips and colourful threads the participants created small decorative paddy items.

A series of activities conducted over two days that are aimed at bringing Odisha’s cultural heritage to the people through crafts bazaars, workshops, demonstrations, and talks.

An age old painting style, the workshop is conducted to provide an experience of using naturally created canvases to paint pattachitra motifs.

Specially curated bazaars that include Master Craftsmen, crafts trainees as well as established
brands that bring together craft products for sale.

Participants using the inner pith of the Indian cork tree or Sola, created decorative items with motifs that included Lord Ganesha, Lord Jagannath and floral decorations. 

Hand carved paper weights using Gamhari wood, this workshop provided an opportunity to experience the chiselling away of wood to reveal final designs.

Conducted in association with the Zain Foundation and NIEPMD, this workshop catered to specially abled children to further develop the senses through activities using clay.

Conducted around Independence Day, participants of the workshop created the flag of India using the techniques of stitching together small pieces of cloth also known as applique.

Ganjifa is an ancient card game that originated in Persia. Using the pattachitra style of painting, participants created their very own Ganjifa cards.
