The crafts persons of the Kansari community are engaged in making brass and kansa objects such as bowls, cooking pots, ladles, tumblers, cymbals, storage vessels, etc., almost all over Odisha but the Ganjam, Dhenkanal and Cuttack districts are particularly well-known for this craft.
